
2024 really is off to a flying start.
I have already had my first cook on the 20th of January (Chicken wings, I am not going to keep making posts about the same wings), I did try a new recipe using Cherry cola rub but not quite got it where I want it so won’t post about it yet.
And I’ve got dates lined up until April already, nearly every weekend.
10th Feb – Chicken Wings (my usual and cherry to test further)
24th Feb – Chicken Wings (usual, cherry and another new recipe)
2nd Mar – Chicken Kebab (maybe Tandoori rather than usual)
9th Mar – Turkey Legs (likely gonna brine them for 24 hours as well)
16th Mar – Brisket
17th Mar – Lamb kebabs (Merguez) and likely devilled eggs with some of the left over brisket
23rd Mar – Pork Loin, rotisserie cooked, no crackling though as no skin
30th Mar – Leg of Lamb
6th April – Chicken Wings
13th April – No confirmed menu but will be cooking as I’ve been asked to cook for family friends.
4th May – Leg of Lamb
I’m away for the last 2 weekends in April so anything else will be further in May.
This is the most I’ve ever been able to plan and cook, I have lots of things in the freezer already so it is helping.
